Dashboard

Your personal home screen and organization overview.

The Dashboard is your landing page — the first thing you see when you open SixGrid. It's split into two sections: your personal work at the top, and the organization overview below.

My To-dos

Shows your open to-do assignments across all projects, sorted by urgency (most urgent first). Only to-dos assigned to you (via the Assign to dropdown on the To-dos tab) appear here. Each to-do shows:

  • The to-do title
  • Which project it belongs to (click to jump to that project)
  • A color-coded due date indicator (see Due Date Color Indicators)
  • A status dot showing whether it's not started (gray), in progress (blue), or blocked (red)

Up to 10 to-dos are displayed. If you have more, a count tells you how many additional items exist. When all your to-dos are done, you'll see a friendly "all caught up" message.

Upcoming Milestones

Shows key checkpoints from your projects that are coming up. Each milestone shows:

  • The milestone title
  • Which project it belongs to
  • A color-coded due date indicator
  • The milestone status (Not Started or In Progress)

Up to 5 upcoming milestones are displayed, sorted by the nearest due date first. When a milestone is due within 3 days, SixGrid also sends an email notification to project leaders and organization admins. See Email Notifications.

My Projects

Shows the projects you're a member of as cards in a grid. Each card shows:

  • The project name
  • Your role on the project (e.g., Project Leader, Team Member)
  • The project's group (if assigned)
  • A status badge (Idea, Active, Completed, or Archived)

Projects are sorted with Active projects first, then Idea, Completed, and Archived. Up to 6 project cards are shown, with a "View all projects" link if you have more.

Organization Overview

Below your personal sections, a divider separates the Organization Overview — a high-level snapshot of everything happening across the organization.
